This sophisticated design solution comprises a circular box measuring 225 mm x 225 mm x 56 mm, featuring a thoughtfully crafted lid with a die-cut center that offers a glimpse of the enclosed notebook. The set's distinctive feature is its array of twelve custom-designed crystal magnets arranged in a circular pattern on the top tier, each representing different types of Bao (Chinese buns). The accompanying notebook, produced using premium Mohawk Paper, incorporates detailed infographics that provide comprehensive information about each bao variety, including pronunciation guides and cultural context, while dotted pages encourage personal note-taking and documentation. The design employs strategic use of Pantone Neon Yellow and Spotuv finishing to emphasize key elements and enhance visual appeal. Developed between September 2015 and February 2016, this corporate gift set serves as an educational tool for international audiences to explore Chinese culinary culture and language, combining functionality with cultural appreciation. The innovative binding technique, featuring open-spine construction, complements the contemporary interpretation of traditional elements, while the careful material selection and production methods demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship.
