Bolina Room Divider is an innovative, multifunctional furniture piece that seamlessly combines the functionality of a room divider with vertical gardening capabilities, designed by Italian architect Alessandra Meacci. Drawing inspiration from sailing boats and traditional wrought-iron garden furniture, this sophisticated design features a meticulously crafted metal structure with circular levels that are laser-cut to accommodate variable-sized plant pots. The distinctive covering is created by repeatedly stretching sailing rope from the base to the top plane, forming an elegant curved surface that adds both aesthetic appeal and practical functionality. Standing at 1900 mm in height with a base diameter of 660 mm (also available in a smaller 1200 mm height variant), the divider's modular design allows multiple units to be connected, creating a sinuous, colored wall that can transform any space.
