Designed by Chloe Liew, this Silver A' Design Award-winning project transforms traditional kindergarten architecture into an engaging spatial experience that serves as a transitional paradise between home and the outside world. The design philosophy centers on creating a home-like atmosphere with distinct zones offering varied architectural terrains and structures to accommodate both dynamic and quiet activities. The interior features a sophisticated pale color scheme complemented by warm wood elements, promoting sustainability while maintaining a welcoming ambiance. A defining characteristic is the integration of a curved slide in the reception area's core, transforming the entire space into an interactive learning environment that stimulates curiosity and self-initiated exploration. The facility incorporates innovative features such as a mezzanine level with climbing nets, geometric window structures that challenge visual perception, and thoughtfully designed small huts within larger spaces that provide children with personal retreats. Natural lighting plays a crucial role in the design, creating peaceful and cozy atmospheres throughout the interior. The project, completed in 2019, includes a cafe-style facility that serves as an interactive space where parents can wait while children play, featuring a backdrop wall for displaying children's artwork and kindergarten culture.
