Boundary Of Transparency Interior Design, Office

Boundary of Transparency Interior Design, office is an innovative interior design project that reimagines a traditional industrial company's workspace in Gangshan Township, Kaoshiung City, Taiwan. Created by designers Pei-Ching Su and Tsai-Ying Wu, this 280-square-meter office space masterfully balances contrasting elements to create a dynamic and contemporary working environment. The design philosophy centers on the interplay between transparency and opacity, utilizing a sophisticated black and white color scheme punctuated by strategic red accents and modern art installations. The space encompasses a lobby, office areas, and meeting rooms, featuring white walls and ceilings contrasted with black brick floors and doors, complemented by dark-wood wall cabinets. A distinguishing characteristic of the design is its innovative use of folded plates in the ceilings, counters, and tables, creating an engaging visual dialogue between flat and dimensional surfaces. The integration of natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows not only illuminates the space but also creates a seamless connection with the exterior greenery, effectively expanding the perceived spatial dimensions. This design, which won the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional skill in transforming a traditional industrial office into a modern, invigorating workspace that challenges conventional corporate design paradigms while maintaining functionality and aesthetic excellence.
