The interior design draws inspiration from historical dungeons, featuring exposed brick walls with clean pointing and lacquered finishing for hygiene, complemented by rafters made of wood and cladded with naturally polished Pine wood ceiling treatments. The space ingeniously incorporates multiple functional zones, including a private dining area, a smoking room cleverly housed within a London telephone booth, and a specialized pour-your-own-beer counter, all while maintaining a minimum capacity of 50 covers. A distinctive book loan system has been implemented, allowing guests to borrow books for a nominal fee, thereby encouraging repeat visits and fostering a community of literary-minded patrons. The establishment's bar counter, finished in neat cement with a suspended sleeper wood log supporting light fixtures, exemplifies the industrial-rustic aesthetic that characterizes the space. This innovative concept, which earned the Silver A' Design Award in the Hospitality, Recreation, Travel and Tourism Design category, demonstrates exceptional space utilization and creative problem-solving in combining multiple functions within a limited footprint.
