Belugadesign Office is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of form and function within a marine-themed context. Located adjacent to an ocean world complex, this 330-square-meter workspace represents a sophisticated approach to corporate interior design, featuring a distinctive orange metal screen installation that creates a compelling dialogue with the surrounding blue facade of the ocean park. The design, which garnered a Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design category, masterfully accommodates 62 professionals while maintaining a strong aesthetic identity. The project's architectural language is defined by an extensive frame structure that facilitates the main spatial flow, with the vertical dimension being particularly emphasized through thoughtful design elements that maximize the 5.5-meter height. The interior scheme employs a strategic use of materials including metal, terrazzo, and Oriented Strand Board, demonstrating resourceful budget management while achieving high design impact. The workspace's layout incorporates essential functional areas such as reception, reading room, and meeting spaces, all unified through an orange circulation pathway that extends to custom-designed lighting fixtures, furniture, and presentation walls. This cohesive design approach, completed in 2017, successfully transforms a twenty-year-old ocean world building into a contemporary office environment that reflects its occupants' creative spirit while maintaining a strong connection to its maritime context through carefully considered material choices and spatial relationships.
